Congratulations to our ITECH graduates Anastasia Malafey, Ekin Sila Sahin and Anand Shah!
They received the “Leichtbaupreis 2022” for their ITECH Master´s thesis project [Design For] Robotic Assembly. The project proposes an assembly system for modular timber structures by introducing a robotic on-site fastening strategy with a structurally optimized design for assembly methodology.
The Lightweight Construction Award is a promotional prize for students of architecture, civil engineering, design, aircraft and mechanical engineering as part of their design, diploma or master thesis. The award is intended to promote work in the field of lightweight construction in order to reward the interest and commitment of students in this field.
