Congratulations to ITECH alumni Luisa Claus and Simon Joller for winning the second prize in the "Auf IT gebaut – Bauberufe mit Zukunft" competition 2025 in the Architecture category! 🎉
Their thesis project "Empowering Data-Driven Decisions" exemplifies how cutting-edge technology can transform architectural design processes. In their thesis, Luisa and Simon explored integrating data-driven methodologies to enhance design decision-making. Their work demonstrates how designers can optimize and innovate sustainable solutions effectively by leveraging advanced computational tools and analysis.
We're proud to see our ITECH students pushing the boundaries of architecture and technology at the University of Stuttgart.
The research was developed as a thesis project at the Integrative Technologies and Architectural Design Research (ITECH) Master of Science program at the University of Stuttgart and supervised by Professor Achim Menges, Professor Thomas Wortmann, Xiliu Yang, and Max Zorn.
