Congratulations to ITECH alumni Clara Blum, Laura Marsillo, and Gonzalo Muñoz Guerrero, who received the second prize for their ITECH master´s thesis "Reclaimed Design"!
We're proud to see our ITECH students pushing the boundaries of architecture and technology at the University of Stuttgart.
The "Auf IT gebaut – Bauberufe mit Zukunft" competition aims to promote the use of innovative and practical information technologies in the construction industry. It offers apprentices, students, and young professionals the opportunity to actively shape the future of the construction industry through practical IT applications.
Prizes of up to 2,500 euros are awarded in four categories. The award ceremony alternates between the world’s leading trade fair BAU in Munich and digitalBAU, the trade fair for digital solutions in the construction industry, in Cologne.
The "Auf IT gebaut – Bauberuf mit Zukunft ” competition is held under the patronage of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and is supported by numerous associations, institutions, and renowned companies in the construction industry. The competition is organized by the RKW Competence Center. Further information.
The research was developed as a thesis project at the Integrative Technologies and Architectural Design Research (ITECH) Master of Science program at the University of Stuttgart and supervised by Professor Thomas Wortmann, Professor Jan Knippers, Zuardin Akbar, and Tzu-Ying Chen.
